Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Service describe the rules that apply when you visit or use MoodGallery. By opening any page on this site, reading an article, using a tool, or generating artwork, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every page on the site, including the home page, the mood art generator, the journal, the example gallery, the blog, and the free tools.
MoodGallery is a small, independent creative project. It is not a social network, a marketplace, a counselling service, a clinic, or a subscription product. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not sell access to its pages. The terms on this page are written in plain language on purpose: they are meant to be read and understood, not skimmed past. Where a section gives an example, the example is there to explain the rule, not to narrow it. The rule itself still applies to similar situations that are not listed.
These terms work together with the site's Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information the site collects and how local storage works. These Terms of Service explain what you may do with the site, what the site provides, and where the limits of responsibility lie. If the two pages ever seem to disagree, the Privacy Policy governs questions about personal information, and these terms govern questions about use of the site. You can learn more about the purpose of the project on the About page, but that page is descriptive only: it does not add extra rights or promises beyond what these terms state.
We may update these terms from time to time, as described in the section on changes to these terms near the end of this page. The version that applies is the version published on this page at the time you use the site. You do not need to take any action to accept an updated version, but you are responsible for checking this page occasionally if you continue to use the site over a long period.
What MoodGallery is
MoodGallery is a static creative reflection site. That description matters, because it shapes what the site can and cannot do. The pages you see are pre-built pages served to your browser. When you use an interactive feature, the work happens in your own browser, on your own device, rather than on a server that stores your entries.
The site includes several parts. The mood art generator lets you pick a mood and an intensity, generate an original artwork on a canvas in your browser, download it as a picture, or copy a short share text. The journal lets you write short entries and keep them in your browser's local storage, so they remain on your device and are not sent to a server. The example gallery shows original gradient and shape compositions made for this site, to illustrate how a feeling can become a visual idea. The blog publishes original articles about mood journaling, colour, creative expression, reflection prompts, and habit-building. The tools pages offer a short mood quiz, a colour palette generator, and a daily journal prompt generator. All of these are provided for personal, creative reflection.
Because the site is static and account-free, some things it does not do are worth stating plainly. It does not store your journal entries on a server, and it cannot recover them if you clear your browser's local storage, switch devices, or use a different browser. It does not keep a copy of the artwork you generate unless you download it yourself. It does not send you messages, and it does not offer a way to follow, message, or interact with other visitors. There is no community feed, no comment section, and no public profile. If a feature ever changes in the future, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the change before you are expected to rely on it.
Nothing on the site requires payment. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions, and no locked premium pages. If you ever see a page that asks you to pay for access to MoodGallery content, treat it with caution: it is not part of this site, and you should not enter payment details into it. Advertising, if it is added later, will be described in the Privacy Policy, and it will not change the fact that the core pages and tools are free to read and use.
Personal and lawful use
You may use MoodGallery for your own personal, non-commercial reflection. That means reading articles, trying prompts, keeping a private journal in your browser, generating artwork for yourself, and downloading artwork you generate to keep, print for your own wall, or share privately with people you know. Personal use includes using an idea from an article in your own private journal, or trying a prompt with a friend in conversation. It does not include republishing the site's articles, artwork examples, or tools as your own work, or building a competing public product out of the site's content.
You agree to use the site lawfully. That includes the law that applies where you are, as well as basic respect for other people's rights. You must not use the site to break the law, to deceive others, to harass or threaten anyone, or to distribute material that you do not have the right to share. You must not use the site in a way that interferes with other visitors' ability to use it, or that puts the site, its hosting, or other people's devices at risk.
You are responsible for how you use what you create here. If you download artwork you generate and then post it somewhere else, the rules of that other platform apply to that post, and you are responsible for following them. If you share a journal entry or a reflection with someone else, that is your choice, and you should consider before sharing whether the entry contains anything private that you would rather keep to yourself. The site cannot control what happens to a file once you have downloaded it or to words once you have shared them elsewhere.
Acceptable use in detail
The following list explains acceptable use in more concrete terms. It is not an exhaustive list of every possible misuse, but it covers the situations most likely to arise on a small, static site like this one.
- Use the tools as intended. The generator, quiz, palette tool, and prompt tool are built for personal reflection and creative play. Use them for that purpose, and do not try to turn them into a way to send bulk messages, to harvest information, or to interact with other visitors.
- Do not disrupt the site. Do not attempt to overwhelm the site with automated requests, to probe it for weaknesses, to bypass any technical protection, or to interfere with its hosting. The site is served as static pages, so there is no login to break into and no database of user entries to reach, but attempts to disrupt the service are still a misuse of it.
- Do not scrape or copy at scale. Reading pages in a normal browser is fine. Systematically copying the whole blog, the gallery, or the tool pages in bulk, whether by hand or by automated means, for republication or for training another product, is not permitted without permission.
- Do not misrepresent the site. Do not present yourself as the site, as its author, or as someone acting on its behalf. Do not copy the site's name, layout, or content in a way that makes visitors believe they are on MoodGallery when they are not.
- Do not use the site to harm others. Do not use the site, its tools, or anything you generate here to harass, intimidate, defame, or mislead another person, or to encourage anyone else to do so.
- Do not introduce harmful material. Do not attempt to upload, inject, or link anything malicious, such as code designed to damage a device or to collect information without consent. The site has no upload feature for visitors, and any attempt to add such material is a misuse.
- Respect other people's work. The articles and artwork examples on this site are original to it, as described in the intellectual property section below. Do not strip credit, remove notices, or rework the material to hide where it came from.
If you are unsure whether a particular use is acceptable, the safest approach is to keep it private and personal, or to ask through the Contact page before publishing anything that relies on the site's content. A short question in advance is much easier to resolve than a dispute after material has already been shared publicly.
Your creations and your journal entries
When you use the mood art generator, the artwork is generated in your browser from the mood and intensity you choose. You may download that artwork for personal use, as described above. The artwork you generate is yours to keep for yourself, to print, or to share privately. The site does not claim ownership of the particular picture you generate in your own session, and it does not keep a copy of it. That distinction matters: the generator itself, the site's example compositions, and the code and design of the tools belong to the site, but the picture produced by your choices in your browser is a personal creation you may keep.
Your journal entries are different again, because they are never submitted to the site at all. When you write in the journal, the entry is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. No one at MoodGallery can read it, edit it, back it up, or restore it, because it never leaves your device. That privacy is a deliberate feature of the design, but it comes with a trade-off that you should understand: if you clear your browser data, uninstall your browser, lose your device, or move to a new device, your entries will not follow you unless you have copied them somewhere yourself. If an entry matters to you, export or copy it in a place you control.
You are responsible for the content of your own journal entries and of anything you write using a prompt from the site. The site does not review, approve, or moderate entries, because it cannot see them. That also means the site cannot be held responsible for private notes you choose to keep, share, or publish elsewhere. Think of the journal as a private notebook that happens to live in your browser: the notebook is yours, the pages are yours, and what you do with them is your decision.
If you use a prompt, a colour palette, or an idea from an article in your own creative work, that is a normal and welcome use of the site. A short prompt or a colour combination, used as inspiration for something you make yourself, is not the same as copying an entire article or reproducing the gallery wholesale. When in doubt, create something new in your own words and your own style, and use the site's material as a starting point rather than as the finished piece.
Intellectual property
All original text, artwork examples, tools, page designs, and other content on this site are protected by intellectual property rules, and they belong to the site and its creators, unless a page states otherwise. That includes the blog articles, the example gallery compositions, the wording of the tools and prompts, and the overall presentation of the site. You may read, link to, and quote short excerpts for personal reflection or for fair discussion, with credit to MoodGallery and a link to the original page where that is practical. You may not reproduce entire articles, copy the gallery as a set, redistribute the tools, or present the site's content as your own work.
Linking to the site is welcome. You may link to the home page, to a blog article, or to a tool page from your own blog, social post, or message, provided the link does not suggest an endorsement or partnership that does not exist. Deep linking to a specific article is fine. Framing the site inside another page in a way that hides its origin, or copying the site into another domain, is not fine. If you run a directory, a list, or a review site and you want to describe MoodGallery, please describe it accurately and link to the real address, rather than copying its pages.
If you believe that something on this site infringes your rights, please raise it through the Contact page with enough detail for the concern to be checked: the page concerned, the material you believe is affected, and why you believe it is yours. A vague complaint without a specific page or passage is hard to investigate, so the more precise the message, the faster it can be reviewed. The site will review genuine concerns in good faith and, where a concern is well founded, will correct or remove the material concerned.
Trademarks and names belonging to other people or organisations are not claimed by this site. Where a third-party name appears, for example in an article that mentions a well-known platform or product for context, it remains the property of its owner, and its mention does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, that owner. Similarly, nothing on this site should be read as an endorsement of any third-party product or service.
Third-party links
Some pages may link to other websites, for example to explain a concept, to point to a related resource, or to credit a source. Those links are provided for convenience and information only. MoodGallery does not control those sites, does not endorse their content, and is not responsible for their privacy practices, their accuracy, or their availability. When you follow an outbound link, you leave this site, and the terms and privacy policy of the other site apply to your visit there.
You should use the same caution with outbound links that you would use anywhere on the web. Check a site before entering personal information into it, and do not assume that a link from MoodGallery is a guarantee that the linked site is safe, accurate, or suitable for your purpose. If a linked page changes, moves, or disappears, that is a normal part of the web, and it does not create a responsibility for this site to maintain a copy of it or to warn every reader.
Inbound links are also outside the site's control. Other sites may link to MoodGallery without permission, and the existence of such a link does not mean the site endorses the linking site. If you run a site that links here, you are responsible for the context in which the link appears on your own pages, and for not presenting the link in a misleading way.
No medical or psychological advice, and no professional relationship
Content on this site is general information only. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, counselling, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mood journaling, reflection prompts, colour exercises, and creative activities are presented here as personal creative practices: ways to notice a day, to put a feeling into words or colour, and to build a small habit of reflection. They are not presented as treatments, cures, or interventions for any condition, and they should not be used as such.
Reading an article about mood patterns does not make you a clinician, and it does not turn a pattern you notice into a diagnosis. A low-energy week, a tense afternoon, or a run of restless nights can have many ordinary explanations, and this site is not equipped to sort them out for you. If you are worried about your health, your mood, or your wellbeing, please seek advice from a qualified professional in your area, or contact a trusted local helpline or emergency service if you feel unsafe. The site includes a general reminder to that effect in its footer, and this section repeats it because it is important: if you are in crisis, please reach out to people and services around you rather than relying on a journal page.
Using the site does not create a professional relationship of any kind. There is no clinician, counsellor, therapist, or adviser on the other end of the generator, the quiz, or the journal, because there is no other end: the tools run in your browser. No page on the site offers a personal assessment of your health, and no result from the mood quiz should be read as a clinical result. The quiz gives a simple snapshot and a colour direction for creative use only. Treat every result, prompt, and article as a starting point for your own reflection, not as an instruction about what to do next.
This limit also applies to the way the site talks about stress, sleep, movement, and social time. Articles may note that people often feel different after a walk, after a good night's sleep, or after time with friends, because those are ordinary observations about daily life. Such observations are not prescriptions, and they do not replace advice tailored to your situation. If an article suggests an experiment, such as trying a morning walk for a week and noticing how the day feels, that is a personal reflection exercise, not a health recommendation, and you should use your own judgement about whether it suits you.
Availability and changes to the site
This site is provided on an "as is" basis. That means it is provided as it is, with the pages and tools that exist at the time you visit, and without a guarantee that it will always be available, always be complete, or always work exactly the same way in every browser. Browsers change, devices change, and small sites change too. A tool that works smoothly in one browser may behave slightly differently in another, and a page that exists today may be updated, moved, or removed tomorrow.
We may change, update, or remove pages at any time, for any reason, including to correct an error, to improve an article, to retire a tool that is no longer maintained, or to reorganise the site. We will try to keep changes sensible and to keep popular pages stable, but we do not promise advance notice for every edit, and we do not promise that a particular article, tool, or example will remain available indefinitely. If you rely on a specific prompt, template, or exercise, consider copying it into your own journal so that you still have it even if the page changes.
Interruptions can happen. Hosting can fail, a deployment can introduce a temporary error, or a page can be unavailable while it is being updated. The site does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and a temporary outage does not create a right to compensation. If a page fails to load, waiting and trying again later will usually resolve it. If a problem persists for a long time, you can raise it through the Contact page so that it can be looked into.
The site is served as static pages, which keeps it simple and fast, but it also means there is no support desk, no account recovery process, and no way to restore journal entries stored on your device. Those limits are part of the design, not oversights to be worked around by asking for a copy of something the site never held. Please keep your own copies of anything you want to keep.
Liability limits in general terms
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its creators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Indirect losses are losses that are not the direct and immediate result of using a page, but that follow from it in a longer chain: for example, a missed opportunity that you connect to a day spent journaling, or a decision you later regret that you say was influenced by an article. This site provides general information and creative tools, not advice tailored to your decisions, so it cannot accept responsibility for decisions you make after reading it.
Nothing in this section is intended to limit liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, and nothing here removes your basic consumer or legal rights where those rights cannot be waived. The limits in this section are written in general terms because this is a small, free, account-free site, not a commercial service with a negotiated contract. The practical point is simple: the site is free, it holds none of your journal entries, and it offers no professional service, so its responsibility is limited to providing the pages themselves with reasonable care, not to guaranteeing outcomes in your life.
You use the site at your own discretion. If a tool produces a result you disagree with, if an article does not suit your situation, or if a page contains an error, the remedy is to stop using that page, to check the information elsewhere, or to raise the error through the Contact page so that it can be corrected. The site does not offer compensation for time spent reading, for artwork you generate, or for journal entries you keep on your own device.
Termination and suspension of access
Because there is no account to close, termination works differently here than on a service with logins. In practice, suspension of access means that the site may block, limit, or refuse requests from a visitor, a device, or a network that is misusing the site, for example by sending automated bulk requests, by attempting to disrupt the hosting, or by scraping content at scale. Such a block, if it happens, applies to access to the site's pages, not to anything stored on your device: your local journal entries and downloaded artwork remain yours, on your device, regardless of any block.
We prefer not to block anyone. Blocking is a last resort, used when misuse is clear and ongoing, or when it threatens the availability of the site for other visitors. If you believe you have been blocked in error, you can raise it through the Contact page with a description of what you were doing when access stopped. A genuine mistake, such as a shared network address being caught in a block aimed at someone else, will be looked into, and the block will be lifted if the explanation checks out.
You may stop using the site at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. There is nothing to cancel, because there is no account and no subscription. If you stop using the site, your local journal entries remain in your browser until you delete them, and you can delete them at any time through your browser's storage settings. The site itself has nothing to delete on your behalf, because it never received your entries.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site changes, when a new feature is added, or when the wording needs to be clearer. When a change is made, the "Last updated" line at the top of this page will change to the date of the new version, and the new version will be published on this page. The updated terms apply from the date they are published. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated version.
Material changes will be described, where practical, in the updated text itself, so that a returning reader can see what is different. Minor clarifications, corrections of typos, or rewording that does not change the meaning may be made without a separate announcement. If a change would affect something you rely on, such as a new feature that stores information differently, the Privacy Policy will be updated at the same time, and you should read both pages before continuing to use the changed feature.
If you do not accept an updated version of these terms, you should stop using the site. Because there is no account to close and no data held on a server, stopping use is straightforward: simply do not return to the pages, and delete any local journal entries you no longer want through your browser's settings.
Questions about these terms
If anything on this page is unclear, or if you have a question about how these terms apply to a particular use, please ask by email at MoodGallery@info.com or through the Contact page. You can also reach the site operator by phone at (908) 314-4336, by post at 23 4th Ave, Neptune City, NJ 07753, Amerika Serikat, on Facebook at facebook.com/Moodgalleryy, or on Instagram at instagram.com/m00dgallery. A short, specific question is easiest to answer: say which section you are asking about, what you would like to do, and what is unclear. Questions about the site's content, about a possible error in an article, or about a concern over rights can also be raised the same way.
Please do not use the Contact page to send journal entries, private reflections, or sensitive personal information. The contact form is a simple interface, and the site is not set up to receive or safeguard private health information. Keep messages focused on the site itself: its pages, its tools, its content, and these terms. If your question is about your own health or wellbeing, please speak to a qualified professional or a trusted local service instead, as described in the section on no medical advice above.
Thank you for reading these terms. MoodGallery is a small project built for quiet, personal reflection, and these terms exist to keep it that way: free to read, simple to use, private by design, and clear about its limits. If you use the site within those limits, you are welcome here, and we hope the generator, the journal, the gallery, the blog, and the tools give you a calmer way to notice your days.
